Monkey Look offers simple and effective advertising methods for websites. All advertising on Monkey Look is allotted to the highest bidder in member auctions. Advertising space is available on the homepage and in each category. Search placement optimization is also allotted to the highest bidder. Websites begin advertising on Monkey Look by becoming a member. Click here to become a member

2. Banner ads.
3. Access to auctions for advertising space on category page or home page.
4. Access to auctions for search placement optimization.

2. Create a text description.
3. Create a banner ad.
4. Proceed to auctions for search placement or banner ad spaces.

1. Create a banner ad image in any graphic program (Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, etc.).
2. Make sure image is 216 (width) x 160 (height) pixels.
3. Save image in .GIF, .JPG, or .JPEG format.
4. Access member area through "Member Login" on homepage.
5. Click "Upload Banner ad" on menu that appears to the left.
6. Upload the ad file you just created by clicking the "Browse" button, clicking the file, then pressing "Submit."
7. Check your banner ad and make any changes if necessary by repeating steps 1-7.

1. Access member area through "Member Login" on homepage.
2. Click either "Banner ad Auction" or "Search Placement."
3. By clicking "Banner ad Auction," you will have the choice of bidding for the ads that appear in your category or for the ads that appear on the home page. Websites cannot advertise outside of their category.
4. When in the auction area, either for Banner ads or for search placement, current bids from other members are shown in the box labeled "Bids Highest to Lowest."
5. To make a bid, click "bid" button at the far right.

1. Do not use dollar signs ($) or decimal points (.) or cent amounts. For example: to place a $5 dollar bid, enter 5
2. Bid must be higher than the lowest bid (lowest bid shown in "Bids Highest to Lowest") Duplicate bids are not permitted. Bid must be a new amount.
3. Bids are in dollar increments, no cents.
4. If your bid is beat by another member, you will receive an email notifying you that you were outbid.
5. Banner ads on search result pages are awarded to the highest 5 bids; highest to lowest top bids awarded top banner ad to the bottom banner ad respectively.
6. Search placement is awarded to the highest 10 bids for any category starting with the first listing to tenth listing, highest to lowest top bids.
7. Auto bid allows members to automatically add amounts to their bids should they get outbid. Increment is the amount added to their original bid. Maximum bid is the maximum amount that the auto bid will reach.
